Great post by a fellow blogger.  I needed to read that this morning.

As my cold continues to hang on, the training feels insurmountable.  We did an interval workout yesterday (Yay for sunshine and a little melting of the snow/ice) that just about wiped my out.  But, I did it.

The part of the above blog post that resonated with me was about faith.  Faith in your training plan.  When in school the teacher didn’t give you a test the first day. (Maybe some did, but that was usually diagnostic and mean.)  You worked week-after-week to learn the material.  Then, you were able to perform.  Training for a race is no different.  We may do trial runs, but the actual test is only one day.  To get there, you need to stick to the plan.
